THE POWER OF RE

Is it that I find my purpose or that my purpose finds me? _________________________________

There is more to this than keeping myself alive.
That is, an embedded purpose beyond the needles and therapies that condition the body to grow accustomed to way too much.

We—those of us who step outside of conventional medicine—are most likely to have been nonconformists from the start. We crave the intellectual stimulation of discovering for ourselves, chase the thrill of fixing things.

Maybe that’s not exactly how to say it. Maybe it’s precisely the case.

For as long as I can remember I’ve been drawn to places in need, called to the architectural interventions that required uncovering the potential that no one else could see, hidden under the neglect.

When I lose my way, as I did [just a little] this week, I follow the breadcrumbs that lead me back to a woman who finds her worth in bringing beauty to unbeautiful things.

Purpose, it appears, is evolutionary. Its application shifts just as the hand of the artist moves from canvas or clay. The belief that all the worn and neglected pieces of Place can be restored has followed me from one project to the next. But in this moment, that dwelling place is me.

Here is the question that drives me through every season, including this one—
What difference can be made in the application of RE?

REpurpose. REgenerate. REclaim. REstore. REnew. REignite.

Most of us have come into a life purpose derived from a circumstance we didn’t plan or expect. Some of us fail or refuse to acknowledge the truth of this.
Perhaps we weren’t emotionally prepared or professionally equipped.
But then something within us either shifts or insists.
And we fall into alignment with our mission,
evolving into someone who has something meaningful to share.

This is the essence of my story with profound iterations—
RE: Again. Back. Return. Repeat.

It is a story that enraptures our Creator, the author of recovering territory neglected, forgotten, or misplaced.

What territory have you squandered?
What vision for your life has been confiscated by others or your own disbelief?
What space within you has been taken over by unhealthiness?
What pieces of yourself have you dishonored, underrated, given away?

Consider this is your RE moment. It is yours to decide the word that comes next—
REcapture. REmove. REsolve. REcalculate.
There are so many good ones to choose from. No matter the journey. No matter the circumstance.

Whatever is lost is yours to reclaim. Not simply my belief. But a promise He made.

God, your God, will restore everything you lost. He will have compassion on you, picking up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered and bring you back to the land your ancestors once possessed.

NOTES:

It’s not by accident that the best words in design are also ones most-often associated with how our Creator works like a master craftsman to forge a new creation in us—Reclaimed. Redeemed. Restored.

Recently, the RE I am most obsessed with is REpurposed.
You probably know, because I’ve written so much about it, that state-of-the-art-testing allows our bodies to tell the true story of our greatest need.

In my case, as it has to do with healing cancer, there are more than a dozen repurposed medications—originally intended to treat specific, non-cancer related conditions—that show measurable potential to heal my body from this disease.

Because so many of you asked…

In context of patient-specific information derived from bloodwork provided by me and exposed to specific substances in a controlled lab, here are a few of the top [non chemotherapeutic] repurposed medications that show the most promise in eradicating the cancer in me:

Propranalol
Niclosamide
Metformin
Artesunate
Bromelain
Genistein
Quercetin
Vitamin C
Cannabidiol
Melatonin

Image: Twice weekly I receive High Dose Vitamin C and Artemisinin [Artesunate] administered through the port that has been a part of my body for the last three years. This therapy is just one of dozens I “enjoy” in a rigorous monthly routine designed to synergistically create a hostile environment for the cancer in me.
