Creating a beautiful home should be driven by a passion for cultivating the beautiful moment, one that not only draws out the best of us and our surroundings but inspires the sacred conversations that soothe the angst and make a way for love. Because what a home “looks like” should never be placed over how it feels—Janene Kraft, Founder, Sanctuary Living

Our surroundings, our environments are tangible extensions of who we are. THEY reveal what we are drawn to, who we love, what excites and motivates us, and what we find to be interesting and lovely. So what is the narrative you have to share? Filling your space with story will transform the way others experience you through your environment and impact all involved on levels more felt than seen.

GLOW

GLOW

I’m writing this on Christmas Eve. I kept waiting for the “mood” to hit me and for the emotion that I feel to well up in and through so that my fingers would weep…so that you would hear my fingers weeping.  I learned to type when I was 17. Letters were like notes on a keyboard, allowing the rhythm of what was felt to pour out of me and onto paper as fast as the love, anger, sadness or whatever I was feeling or sensing would rise and then, somewhere, about half way down the page, begin to even out…

I AM…

I AM…

Time shifts context and significance hides behind relentless routine.
